Funded children
Eligible Working Families
At present, eligible working families of 3- and 4-year-olds can receive 30 hours Early Education Funding. Eligible working families of 2- year olds can claim 15 hours Early Education Funding.
The government has also introduced 15 hours funding for eligible working families of children aged 9 months and above from September’24. This is due to increase to 30 hours funding in September’25 for children aged 9 months or over (it is currently 30 hours for working families of 3 and 4-year-olds). Eligible working families can claim Early Education Funding from the term after their child turns 9 months.
The term dates for funding are 1st Jan-31st March, 1st April-31st August, 1st September- 31st December.
If you are returning to work from Parental Leave, the term you are eligible for is affected by the date you choose to return to work. Please see table below to show when your funding will start if returning to work from Parental Leave.
Funding Elgibility Term | Return to Work Date |
September | 30th September |
January | 1st October to 31st January |
April | 1st February to 30th April |
In addition to Early Education funding for working families, we also offer the Universal 15 hours funding for all 3- & 4-year-olds (eligible from the term after the child’s third birthday), funding for families with special circumstances (2-year-old funding, from the term after the child’s second birthday).
Early Education Funding is provided on a term time basis (38 weeks per year). We stretch this funding across the whole year. If you would like any further information regarding funding, please do not hesitate to contact us.
General
A place can be reserved by payment of a deposit of £100.00. The size of this deposit it fixed, regardless of the number of days required, or how far into the future a place is booked. Deposits are non-refundable but are rebated in full against a child’s first invoice.
We only review our fees once a year (at the end of each financial year). Once these have been reviewed, they are then fixed for the whole of the following financial year.
Please feel free to contact us should you require a full schedule of our fees (including all our options for three and four year) children.
Invoicing
In order to provide the maximum level of transparency for parents as possible, we issue invoices on a calendar monthly basis. Each invoice details the exact number of days booked within the month for which it is issued. It provides the dates of each session invoiced for, as well as the fee for that day and any discount.
Parents can always view their invoice, twenty-four hours a day, from anywhere in the world, by simply accessing our Parentzone App on any computer, mobile phone or tablet (Apple or Android). This provides details of each invoice, including the total monthly fee and can be broken down to show each individual day invoiced for together with that day’s fee, as well as any discount given. In addition, it also shows details of all payments made and provides an up to date account balance.
Help for parents towards the cost of their childcare
A number of Government schemes are available for parents to help towards the cost of their childcare. A full list of these can be found by viewing the Government's own childcare information website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. We recommend all parents do this.
We accept childcare voucher payments from all voucher providers, as well as those operated by employers and parents who are self-employed. However, childcare voucher schemes are now no longer open to new applicants. We also accept payments via the Tax Free Childcare scheme, which is the Government’s replacement system for the older Childcare Voucher Scheme.

Our facilities
Our nursery has been designed for its purpose. We are continually reviewing and developing our facilities and reflecting on our practice, to ensure both our indoor and outdoor environments provide rich, varied and safe spaces for children to learn and develop and that our practice is evidence based and fully reflects the needs of the individual children we care for.
