This was concieved as a fun and engaging way to introduce poetry to young children. My First Poem invited children to complete a special poetry template that celebrated their uniqueness and their favourite person. It captures their likes at this time in their life, making a lovely keepsake to look back upon. My First Poem supports the EYFS literacy requirements of 'being imginative and expressive'. Fouteen of our Pre-School children have been chosen to have their work published in the Youong Writers 2022 edition!
