We recognise that some parents work commitments will preclude them from being able to visit between these times. Therefore, we are always able to agree special arrangements to show parents around at weekends and other alternative times. Please just ring and let us know you want to come and look around and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
When you visit, you will be free to view the whole Nursery and our Outdoor Learning Area. You can see the room your child would be allocated to, talk to, and ask questions of the staff who will be looking after your child as well as also having the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have. You will also be given a demonstration of our parental access webcam system and our “Parentzone” service.
Occasionally, we have more than one child’s parents wishing to visit us at the same time. If this is the case when you call, you may be asked to wait a short time in our parent’s area.
Our experienced team
We have a well established and professional staff group, supported by a competent and experienced senior management team. To maintain quality and continuity of care, we always have more staff on duty than Ofsted minimum staffing ratios require, enabling us to cover for staff holidays and sickness at short notice. All our staff are permanently contracted employees of the Nursery.
Our facilities
Whilst children attending Nursery spend lots of time outdoors playing, learning and exploring the natural environment, we recognised that the quality of our indoor environment is of equal importance. Internally, the Nursery has been completely redesigned to meet our Scandinavian Forest School philosophy. We have deliberately ensured that the Nursery is bright, light and spacious.
